Roposo.com’s reaction on FDI in ecommerce

e-commerce is barely 1% of the overall retail market in India, so if we want to become a sector that is taken seriously, we have to give it impetus in the form of FDI. E-commerce has tremendous potential to contribute to domestic income without massive investments in infrastructure or fixed assets. And just think about the volume of jobs that can be created – with just 1 bn dollars in investment, you can generate lakhs of jobs, directly or indirectly.
