Fujitsu appoints Andy Stevenson as Head of Middle East & India

Andy Stevenson-Territory-Leader-Middle-East-and-India-Managing-Director-for-Fujitsu-IndiaNew Delhi, India, September 4, 2014: Fujitsu today announced that Andy Stevenson has been appointed as the Managing Director for India, and as Territory Leader for Middle East and India. The appointment follows the announcement of Fujitsu’s Global Matrix Organisation, and in line with the company goal of expanding its business globally, and creating a structure that enables Fujitsu to serve its regional and global customers more efficiently and effectively.


Andy Stevenson joins Fujitsu India as a Fujitsu veteran and a senior executive with diverse international experience taking over the reins for ambitious growth of Fujitsu in India. He previously served as the CEO of Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd (FTEL) and Executive Director, for Hosting, Networks and Security in Fujitsu UK & Ireland.

Andy’s appointment as the head of India operations is part of the overall commitment and investments Fujitsu is making in India, as it seeks to build the brand’s footprint across services, solutions and products in India’s ICT sector. It falls within the larger restructure of Fujitsu globally, as part of the company’s plan to accelerate globalization of its business. In March, 2014, Fujitsu announced creating a new organization structure consisting of five regions – EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa), Americas, Asia, Oceania and Japan. All five regions, as a part of this new structure, report to the President of Fujitsu Limited and are collectively responsible, from a corporate perspective, for market strategy, sales growth, service excellence, and enhancing the brand image of Fujitsu in their region.
