L&T Infotech’s Innovation Labs Head, Bharati Lele and ‘Log Analytics’ Project bag major awards at INTEROP 2014

Mumbai, India, September 17, 2014: L&T Infotech, a global provider of Information Technology Services & Solutions, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the USD 14.3 billion Larsen & Toubro, won two prestigious awards at the INTEROP Mumbai event organized by UBM (United Business Media) and held on September 05, 2014. The first award was the noteworthy Women Achievers in IT Award in the Leadership category. Ms. Bharati Lele, Head, Innovation Labs was conferred with ‘one of the most inspiring Woman leader in technology’. The second award won under her leadership, was the esteemed InformationWeek EDGE – Enterprises Driving Growth and Excellence (using IT) Award which L&T Infotech won for its Log Analytics project under the Datacenter Networking & Wireless category.

The Log Analytics Project marks the 5th consecutive win of the EDGE Award for L&T Infotech. Log Analytics is a competitive solution for deriving operational intelligence from multiple sources like applications, devices, systems, databases and events logs. It analyzes and monitors user clickstreams, transactions and network activities. The solution provides insights into Server Utilization, Performance Monitoring, Cost Analysis, Historical Trend Analysis, Operational Analysis, and Web Analytics. Future roadmaps include integration with automated helpdesk ticketing system and predictive insight in workload management, capacity planning and effective maintenance schedule.

The Women Achievers in IT Award felicitates those women leaders who have created a mark for themselves in the IT industry. Ms. Lele accepted her award from Ms. Aruna Jayanthi, CEO, Capgemini India and Chairperson of Sweden Country Board. Several dignitaries attended the award ceremony, the guest of honor being Dr. F. C. Kohli, Former Deputy Chairman, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Also present at the event were Dr. D. B. Phatak, Professor, IIT Bombay, and Mr. Vinit Goenka, National Co-Convener, BJP IT Cell.

The two awards reiterated L&T Infotech’s expertise in the IT domain and also revealed to the audience the kind of cutting-edge, innovative work that the company conducts.
