New Delhi, India, September 13, 2014: Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that provides telecom services under the brand MTS has launched its special tariff voucher of Rs 26 for its customers in Kolkata and Rest of West Bengal (RoWB) circles. The tariff voucher will enable lowest call tariffs for MTS Customers in comparison to any other mobile operator in the two circles. The voucher benefits include local calls from MTS to other network at 1.2 paise/3 sec (i.e. 24 paise/min) and MTS to MTS local calls within the Kolkata and RoWB circles at 1.2 paise/6 sec (i.e. 12 paise /min).
According to Rajiv Gupta, Chief Operating Officer of Kolkata and West Bengal circle, “The special tariff voucher of Rs 26 offers unmatched tariffs that are especially tailor made to cater to the extensive communication needs of our customers and empower them with the freedom to stay connected with their friends, family and business associates. We are promoting the product aggressively by making use of innovative OOH media. We are confident that both our existing and new customers will find the product extremely appealing.”
The plan has been designed keeping in mind the communication needs of customers in the upcoming festive season. The special tariff voucher will be promoted extensively not just in Kolkata but also smaller towns for greater visibility and awareness about the product. The Company plans to explore innovative media like wall paintings, food carts, auto rain-covers, bus seats, etc. to reach out to customers even in the remotest corners of RoWB.
