emaze’s PITCHUP ’15 Contest Offers $10,000 Prize and the Possibility of a Sponsored Trip to DEMO

emaze-LogoTel Aviv, March 30, 2015: emaze, the next-generation presentation making software, kicked off its PITCHUP ’15 competition on Friday, March 20, garnering more than 50 presentations and 400+ votes, within 48 hours with no scheduled promotion, only word-of-moth. The explosion of international participation piqued the interest of VCs and incubators while capturing the attention of the DEMO franchise.


“VCs and accelerators in Israel, the U.S. and Asia asked to partner with us,” said Motti Nisani, CEO of emaze. “But when DEMO took notice, allowing us to offer our winner a spot at the Conference and the $10,000 prize, we understood that we were looking at something far bigger.”


Contest prizes include $10,000, a potential trip to DEMO, and a Popular Choice award. Winners will be named after two rounds of judging, one based on popular choice via emaze’s website and the second with leaders in the Israeli and international startup arena.


With Tel Aviv-based partners including ITAI, the Hive, StarTAU and the Junction, emaze has become a global magnet for startups in various stages of funding, affording them an easy opportunity to pitch a panel of noted investors.


The winner will be announced on April 21.
