We feel this year’s Union Budget has laid much emphasis on infrastructural development by increasing funding by 70,000 crores. Moreover, the proposal for the new 5 mega power projects of over 4000 MW is definitely going to be a welcome change along with the introduction of the infrastructure bond. The only disappointment the budget has brought about is the increase of excise duty and service tax. We are genuinely looking forward to see how the government is going to take further initiatives to fund and implement these projects.
